Mrs. Stephens holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Jacksonville State University. She is originally from Rome, GA, where she worked for the Cooperative Extension Service in Floyd County as a 4-H program assistant. Mrs. Stephens also developed and setup the pilot program for after-care at West Madison Elementary School. Additionally, she and others administrated the Co-op Program for Covenant Christian Academy in Huntsville.
The Stephens family includes her husband, Mr. Richard Stephens, Hannah, who graduated from LLCA in 2014, and Lucas, who graduated from LLCA in 2016. Lucas married Victoria Dean Schrimsher in 2021. Richard is a Software Scientist for Hexagon in Madison. The Stephens are involved in leadership at West Huntsville Baptist Church.
Mrs. Stephens is honored to be a part of the LLCA staff. Her life is based on her faith in Jesus Christ her Savior and her teaching ministry is founded on Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."
