AP (Advanced Placement) Courses

LLCA currently offers AP(Advanced Placement) classes for high school students on our Den campus.  Students who take these tests will earn an extra quality point on their GPA (ie., 5 points for an A instead of 4, 4 points for a B instead of 3...).  These courses are taught by out teachers on a college level with a college textbook. Students who take the AP exam at the end of the school year have the opportunity to earn college credit for the course as well as high school credit.  The courses replaced at the college level will vary depending on the student's score and the college he/she will be attending.

Current courses offered are AP Physics and AP Calculus A/B.  Courses that are scheduled to be added for the 2016-2017 school year are AP World History, AP Computer Science (programming based), and possibly AP Art (Drawing).    Additional courses will be added each year as we have staff available and interest in particular courses.
