Our school partners with Johnson Elementary for practice fields, as well as, our home games. Teams practice 1-2 times per week at Johnson. We assist Johnson Elementary with field maintenance prior to and during the season. Away games will be played at surrounding county schools.
COACHES…are a pivotal partner that truly makes all of this possible. There would be no baseball or softball without our awesome volunteer coaches. Coaches set the tone for teamwork, competitive play and having a Christ-centered attitude throughout the wins and the loses. As a head coach you will receive practice balls, game balls, scorebook, and LL cap. (as well as a tee for t-ball). You will be responsible for choosing your assistant coaches, leading practice and coordinating 1-2 volunteers for designated field work day at Johnson. If there is anything you need please reach out; I am here to help you and your team.
*BASEBALL (BATS) follows Dizzy Dean Rules- Bats must be "USSSA 1.15" stamped.
*SOFTBALL (BATS) USSSA 1.20 stamped
As a side note, baseball lends itself to also be played in conjunction with NFL Flag Football (which only plays games on Friday night)
I am looking forward to getting this season underway! Let me know if you have any questions or if I can help you get plugged in this season.
