The Counseling Department at Lindsay Lane Christian Academy serves the needs of all students and their families by offering a program that supports a focus on a Biblical Worldview. The guidance office desires to enhance each student's life in the following areas: College and Career Awareness; Personal and Social Support; and Academic Support. The total development of students includes a Biblical Worldview and challenging academics that prepares students in their goal of college and career readiness.
Mrs. Stephens works with families and school administration to enhance the biblically based development of all LLCA students. She supports students as the grow and mature into young people who are strong emotionally, spiritually and equip them to be champions for Christ.
Mr. Thackston works with as it LLCA seeks to aid parents in disciplining their children through our Bible curriculum, Chapel Services, both individual and group discipleship, an incorporated Christian worldview in all classes, and more. Our desire for our students is like Paul's desire for the believers in Philippi as seen in Philippians 1:27..."Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel." We desire that our students live a life based on Biblical principles that honors Christ as Lord and stand in unity striving for the gospel.
Dr. Sharon Clanton has joined the LLCA family to help our students set academic goals and to expand upon their college and career readiness skills. College and Career Readiness is critical to success. Dr. Clanton is using her years of experience as a College and Career Specialist to develop a comprehensive College and Career Readiness Program at LLCA. She has helped thousands of students effectively pursue their “Personal Pathway to Success” and secure millions in scholarship dollars.
