Laura Clem
DIRECTOR OF DYSLEXIA
Mrs. Clem is entering her ninth year at Lindsay Lane Christian Academy and is honored to serve as the school’s new Dyslexia Program Director. She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Athens State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Dyslexia Therapy from The University of West Alabama.
She and her husband will celebrate 20 years of marriage this fall and are the proud parents of three daughters: Eden (Class of '27), Lila (Class of '28), and Abby (Class of '31). Teaching has always been a calling on her life, and she considers it a privilege to work with children—guiding, encouraging, and helping them grow into who God created them to be.
Laura has a deep belief in the power and purpose of LLCA’s Dyslexia Program. Over the years, she has witnessed firsthand the life-changing impact it can have—restoring confidence, unlocking potential, and opening new doors of learning for students who once struggled. She is passionate about continuing to build a strong, supportive program where every child is seen, equipped, and celebrated.
This new role is a true blessing, as it not only allows her to support students and families in a deeper, more specialized way, but also gives her the opportunity to come alongside LLCA’s dedicated teachers and tutors to equip and encourage them in their work.
Her favorite verse is Romans 12:12: “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
