Becky Cook, Seventh and Eighth Grade, holds a Degree in Secondary Education from Crown College in Knoxville Tennessee and is certified in English as a Second Language. Becky began teaching in 2001. She has three children, Brandon ('25), Bradley ('29) and Barrett ('32). Her favorite Bible verses are Philippians 3:4 and Psalm 37:4.

Amanda Glass, Middle School Bible and Health holds a Bachelor's Degree of Art in Elementary Education from Martin Methodist College. She began teaching at LLCA in 2013. Amanda has three children. Cole, Callie ('15) and Cara who graduated from LLCA in 2021. Her favorite verse is Luke 22:31-32.

Denise Ratje, Seventh and Eighth Grade, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Bob Jones University. She began teaching in 1989. Denise has three children. Her favorite Bible verse is John 3:30.

Carey Graves, High School History and Math holds a B.S. in Education from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. She began teaching in 2008. Carey has four children. Her youngest son , Joseph will graduate from LLCA in 2021. Her favorite Bible verse is Micah 6:8.

Sandy Covi, High School and Middle School, BS in Biology from Samford University. She began teaching 2013 at LLCA. Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11.

Andrea Forrester, Middle and High School Science, holds a Bachelor's Of Science Degree in Biology, a Master's in School Administration and a Rank 1 in school Administration Level 2. She began teaching in 1998. Andrea has one child Sawyer ('25). Her favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 40:31.

Greg Lauderback, Middle School Spanish and Christian Ethics holds a BS and JD Degree from the University of Tennessee and a Master in Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Greg began teaching in 2008. He has three children, John , Anna Marie and Lydia. Both John and Anna Marie are graduates of LLCA and Lydia will graduate in 2021. Greg's favorite Bible verse is Galatians 2:20.

Alice Cook, Middle School and High School English and Creative Writing, holds a Master's of Arts Degree in English from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a Master's of Business Administration Degree from the University of North Alabama. She began teaching with LLCA in 2020. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:8.

Dr. Wayne Simpkins, High School AP Calculus, holds an Associate Degree of Science, Bachelor Degree of Science, Master Degree of Science and a PHD of Science. Dr. Simpkins attended Chattanooga State Technical Community College, The University of Arizona and Athens State University. He began teaching at LLCA in 2011. His favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 40:30-31.

Jennifer Perkins, Seventh through Twelfth Grade Career Prep, Media Arts , Yearbook and Computer, holds a Bachelor's of Science in Sports Management and a Minor in Business/Accounting from Liberty University. She began teaching with LLCA in 2017. Jennifer has four children, Mackenzie ('19), Micah ('22) Sienna and Sydney ('24) and Trey ('25). Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 12:12

Dr. Kim Coenen, High School Science, holds a PhD from Vanderbilt University, MS from the University of Tennessee and a BS from Auburn University. She began teaching at LLCA in 2019. Dr. Coenen has two children, Luke ('30) and Audrey ('27). Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13.

Melinda Stephens, Guidance Counselor, Eighth Grade Latin and High School Family and Consumer Science holds a BS Degree in Middle and Secondary Education From Jacksonville State University. She began teaching in 2001 and has been at LLCA since 2016. Her two children are graduates of LLCA. Melinda's favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6.

Melody Stroud, Middle and High School History, holds a B.A. from The University of Delaware. She began teaching in 2004 and started with LLCA in 2019. Melody has two children, Mary ('26) and Anna ('29). Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 16:6.

Jon Thackston, Ninth and Tenth Grade Bible and Discipleship Director , holds a B.A. from North Greenville University and attended The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jon began teaching for LLCA in 2018. He has two children, Sophia ('20) and Nathan ('22). His favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3: 5-6.
