Robby Parker

HEAD OF SCHOOL

Robby Parker joined Lindsay Lane as Head of School in April 2025.

Mr. Parker came to Lindsay Lane from Whitesburg Christian Academy where he was Principal of grades 7-12. During his 5-year tenure at Whitesburg, Mr. Parker oversaw tremendous growth in students as well as growth in the academic program that saw the addition on 7 AP courses and Internships for all seniors. An average ACT of 26.5 (100% of students tested) was a point of great pride among students and staff.

Prior to his tenure at Whitesburg, Mr. Parker was Superintendent of Education over Madison City Schools. In his 32 year tenure in Madison, Mr. Parker began as a teacher-coach in 1988, moved into the role of assistant principal, then principal at both Discovery Middle School and ultimately Bob Jones High School, which consistently excelled in academics, the arts, and athletics under his leadership.

During Mr. Parker’s tenure as Superintendent, he guided Madison City Schools through unprecedented growth. Madison City Schools also earned an A on its state-issued report card every year of Mr. Parker’s tenure and was the top producer of National Merit Semifinalists in Alabama. Mr. Parker led the creation of an accelerated math program at the elementary school level and launched the development of a Seal of Biliteracy program for Madison City graduates.

Mr. Parker is the recipient of the 2014 Alabama PTA Principal of the Year Award and the 2019-2020 Alabama PTA Outstanding Superintendent Award. He also received The Alabama High School Athletic Associations “Making A Difference Award” in 2014.

He is a 1987 graduate of Samford University where he earned a B.S. Degree in Secondary Education with a Major in History. He earned his master’s degree in educational administration from UNA in 2000 and graduated from The University of Alabama Superintendent Academy in 2011.

Robby has been married to his wife Anita, for 38 years. They have 2 children, 2 beautiful daughters-in-law and 5 grandchildren.

Robby and Anita have attended Madison Freewill Baptist Church for 35 years where he continues to teach Sunday School. Robby and Anita also began attending Lindsay Lane Baptist Church in April and enjoy worshiping with the wonderful congregation.
