LLCA Fall Youth Soccer 2022!
Lindsay Lane’s Youth Program is excited to now offer Youth Soccer for this Fall!
We will be participating in the H.I.S.L (Huntsville Independent School League) . It has been my goal to offer soccer to our young athletes and being a part of H.I.S.L. allows us that opportunity. I’m so excited for this Fall!
LLCA Youth soccer will be available to K4-6th grade for both boys and girls. These will be co-ed teams. Students should plan on practicing at least 2 times a week at our Lindsay Lane campuses until games start. Then, decreasing to 1 practice a week. There will be 1-2 games a week against other schools who are a part of H.I.S.L. Schools like Randolph, Westminster Christian Academy & Whitesburg Christian Academy, to name a few.
Practices plan to begin mid-August with games starting in late August and ending late October. K4-2nd grade games take place on Saturdays, while 3rd-6th primarily play weeknights. Scheduling has not taken place yet, however, we will be traveling to some of the schools in the Huntsville area to play & potentially playing some games on a LLCA Campus. More information on scheduling will be sent out as soon as it becomes available.
Fee $70 (Paid through FACTS) This youth sports fee covers the jersey kit- jersey, shorts, and socks.
Gear needed: Cleats & Shin guards
If you are wanting to grab a ball to practice with at home grades K4 through 2nd grade use Size 3 soccer ball and grades 3rd- 6th use Size 4.
These teams, like all of our youth sports, are volunteer coach based; if we don’t have coaches we don’t have teams. If you’re interested in volunteering as a coach, we will be offering coaches training to ensure all coaches feel confidently equipped.
